The Glass Facial
The Glass Facial is a two-step skin resurfacing and renewal treatment combining the Instant Glow Peel by Skin Ceuticals with Erbium Glass Laser technology. The Instant Glow Peel first removes the outermost layer of dull, damaged skin cells, clearing the surface, brightening tone and priming the skin for deeper treatment. The Erbium Glass Laser then delivers precise, controlled light energy that targets water in the skin tissue, vaporising damaged cells with minimal heat to surrounding areas and triggering the skin’s natural collagen remodelling process. Together, they deliver immediate luminosity alongside deeper, progressive renewal – resulting in a visibly smoother, clearer, glass-like complexion.
What Concerns Does It Treat
Patients who complete a course of The Glass Facial can benefit from a reduction in fine lines and superficial wrinkles, improvement in uneven skin texture and sun damage, treatment for enlarged pores, fresher, healthier looking skin, and an immediate post treatment glow.
What To Expect
- Upon arrival to the clinic, we will apply topical anaesthetic to the treatment area to minimise any discomfort for the patient
- The treatment itself takes approximately 30-40 minutes
- Patients often report tighter, brighter skin after completion of one or two sessions, but best results are seen about three months after the course is finished
Discomfort Level
A very tolerable treatment with a mild downtime. We always use numbing cream to help ensure comfort throughout treatment. Patients can expect to feel heat and tingling in the skin but do not report feeling pain. Each patient’s experience is different, and our practitioners will always work to ensure patient comfort.
Recommend Treatment Plan
For best results we recommend a course of 3 treatments carried out 4 – 6 weeks apart.
