At the moment we do not have a consultant dermatologist as part of our team. For all dermatology patients and referrals, we would recommend contacting the Beacon Hospital Dermatology Department.
For cosmetic treatments we do not require a referral letter, unless it is a revision or correctional procedure. For all ENT appointments, yes, a referral letter is required. As explained in the above question, we cannot take on patients with dermatology referral letters.
Your initial consultation will consist of a review of your medical history, a clinical examination and a full discussion of your particular expectations and concerns.
The nature of any proposed treatment will be explained in detail including the procedure itself, recovery time and anticipated result along with any potential risks.
There is a consultation fee depending on the nature of your visit. If you decide to go ahead with treatment on the day, you consultation fee will go towards your treatment cost.
Unfortunately we do not attend to children, we would recommend attending your GP for any pediatric dermatology needs and they will be able to refer you accordingly.
If you are a Mum-to-be we can gladly offer you our Youth Glow treatment. Please note that you must be in your second trimester before we can accommodate you.
We understand that plans change and would be happy to rearrange any appointments for you given advance warning. For no shows or cancellations made less than 48 hours before the time of booking, the deposit taken at the time of booking will be charged as a cancellation fee. We appreciate your understanding in valuing the time of each of our practitioners as well as those on our waiting lists.
Should you arrive late for your appointment we will do our very best to accommodate you. Please do keep in mind that if there is a patient booked after you, the duration of your treatment will be shortened to ensure the next patient is not delayed.
Yes, it is okay to wear makeup to your consultations. If makeup needs to be removed in any area(s) we will give you time to reapply before leaving the clinic should the application of makeup comply with your post treatment guidelines.
