Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are an injectable treatment used to restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and rejuvenate the skin. Dermal Fillers offer a non-surgical option to reduce signs of aging, improve skin texture, and create a more balanced, and more youthful appearance.
What Concerns Does It Treat
Dermal fillers have been specifically designed to restore structure and replace volume. As we age, collagen and hyaluronic acid gradually decrease, leading to sagging, wrinkles, and volume loss. Dermal fillers are specifically formulated to counter these changes, restoring structure and at Beacon Face and Dermatology our goal is always to treat with Dermal Fillers in a way that will enhance patients features for natural-looking results.
Dermal fillers are especially effective within the Mid-Face, Cheeks, Jawline, Nasolabial Folds, Tear Trough (under eyes), Chin and Nose area.
What To Expect
-
Every Patient begins with a thorough consultation and facial assessment with one of our doctors
-
We take time to understand your goals, assess your facial profile, and create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your specific needs
-
Should you wish to go ahead, the treatment area will be cleaned
-
The filler is injected with a thin needle or cannula to deposit small amounts beneath the skin
-
Results may vary from person to person; however, dermal filler typically lasts 6–18 months, depending on the type of product used and factors such as age, skin health, and treatment area
Discomfort Level
Overall, the treatment is considered a well-tolerated treatment with only minimal, temporary discomfort. Some swelling and bruising can occur post treatment and will subside within a couple of days. For patients concerned about pain we offer numbing cream for sensitive areas.
