Profhilo
Profhilo is an injectable treatment aimed at improving overall skin tone, hydration, firmness, and elasticity. It uses hyaluronic acid (HA), a component naturally found in the body but one that depletes as we age. Profhilo is not a dermal filler, but a skin booster that works beneath the surface to remodel aging and sagging tissue and boost skin on the face, neck, or decollete
What concerns does Profhilo treat
- Deep hydration from within to improve overall skin texture and smoothness. (HA draws in and holds water, providing deep hydration)
- Boosts collagen and elastin production for better skin structure
- Softens fine lines caused by loss of skin elasticity
- Can reduce “crepey skin” (common on the face, neck, décolletage, hands)
- Improves skin glow and luminosity to restore a fresher, more youthful appearance
What to Expect
- A quick treatment — about 15 minutes
- Profhilo is injected just under the skin with a fine needle
- 10 strategic points are used to ensure an even spread and balanced results
- Results are visible straight away
- Your skin looks smoother and brighter as soon as the treatment is finished
Discomfort level
Profhilo is injected just under the skin. Patients usually describe the sensation as a quick sting or mild burning at each injection site. Any discomfort is very brief, as there are only a few injection points per side of the face. Overall, Profhilo is considered a well-tolerated treatment with only minimal, temporary discomfort.
Recommend treatment plan
Our doctors recommend that you receive two Profhilo treatments, about one month apart in order to achieve the best possible results. Maintenance treatments are often recommended after a period of six months in order to prolong the effect of Profhilo, but these types of recommendations are usually made on an individual basis.
