Secret Duo
Secret Duo is a two-stage skin remodelling and resurfacing treatment that combines Secret RF fractional radiofrequency microneedling with Erbium Glass Laser to address skin concerns at multiple depths simultaneously. Secret RF uses ultra-fine microneedles to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy deep into the dermis, triggering collagen and elastin remodelling from within. The Erbium Glass Laser then works on the surface, precisely resurfacing the outer skin layers, evening tone and texture and stimulating further collagen renewal. Together, they deliver both deep structural remodelling and surface-level refinement in a single combined treatment, with results that continue to improve over the following weeks.
What Concerns Does It Treat
With the combination of both RF Needling and Erbium laser, this treatment addresses a multitude of skin concerns and issues such as improving skin texture and tone while boosting radiance, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, helping with dull or tired-looking skin, minimising pores and smoothing skin, treating sun damage and uneven skin tone, promoting collagen and elastin production to improve skin firmness, and giving the skin back its natural glow.
What To Expect
- Upon arrival to the clinic, we will apply topical anaesthetic to the treatment area to minimise any discomfort for the patient
- The treatment itself takes approximately 45 minutes
- Patients often report tighter, brighter skin after completion of one or two sessions but best results are seen about three months after the course is finished, when new collagen is formed in the skin
Discomfort Level
We use numbing cream to help ensure comfort throughout treatment. Patients can expect to feel heat in the skin but do not normally report feeling pain. Each patient’s experience is different, and our practitioners will always work to ensure patient comfort.
Recommend Treatment Plan
We recommend a course of 3 treatments carried out 4 – 6 weeks apart. This ensures your skin has enough time to completely heal and naturally produce new collagen before the next session.
Contraindications
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Allergy or hypersensitivity to lidocaine (if used)
- Active skin infection at the injection site (e.g., cold sores, acne flare, rash, infections)
- A history of true keloid scarring
- Active inflammatory skin conditions (psoriasis, eczema) in the treatment area
- Uncontrolled chronic illnesses
